COOPERATION WITH IWC’s AND OTHER RELATED CLUBS
We have had good relations with our friends from other related clubs. The bonds among us are growing stronger and stronger. These are some of the events and contacts our IWC has had in the last ten years:
- assistance and help to IWC Maribor in establishing their club
- an article on IIW was published in the Slovene brochure Rotarian
- participation in the charter ceremony of IWC Graz
- participation in the ceremony of the 10th anniversary of RC Ljubljana
- participation in the 70th anniversary of Rotary in Maribor
- fostering friendly relations and contacts with the IWC Maribor and IWC Udine
- visit to IWC Udine
- visit of Graz Plečnik exhibition and meeting our IWC Graz friends
- theatre performances in Slovene Theatre in Trieste
- excursion of RC Ljubljana to central Italy to see the remains of the rich Etruscan culture
- visit to IWC Vienna for their 15th anniversary
- IW in Slovenia was first presented by an article on our “Children for children” project in IIW Newsletter in May 2004. Two more articles on IWC Ljubljan were published in both IIW Newsletters in 2007.

- visit to Maribor at the occasion of their 5th anniversary of IWC Maribor
- presentation of IWC Ljubljana on internet in 2006/2007 – made our contacts better and easier

- in May 2007 the IIW President Janet Day paid a visit to Slovenia
- on May 10th 2008 our friends from IWC Trieste spent a sunny Saturday with us in Ljubljana
- cooperation with Rotaract club Ljubljana in the framework of their humanitarian activities
